The North Providence Police Department will process fingerprints for the following reasons only:

Foster Parents ———————————————– No Charge
Massage Therapist —————————————— $42.00 Fee
Medical Marijuana (Caregiver) ————————– $42.00 Fee
Mental Health Facilities ———————————– $42.00 Fee
Firefighter ————————————————— $42.00 Fee
School Department Employees ————————– $42.00 Fee
Religious Organizations Employees or Volunteers — $42.00 Fee
Fees must be paid by check or money order only. No cash will be accepted. Persons needing fingerprints for any other reason, must respond to the Department of the Attorney General, BCI, at 4 Howard Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
Anyone needing a BCI check for volunteering within a North Providence School must report to the individual school to complete the proper paperwork, which will in turn be forwarded to the North Providence Police Department for processing. No BCI checks for volunteering within a North Providence School will be processed directly at police headquarters.
